Hollywood (CWN) - After MTV’s Total Request Live tanked in the ratings department, MTV decided to bring the show to an end, but not before giving it one last hurrah.

In the program’s final three-hour episode, several artists who felt the show had launched their careers over the past ten years came back to express their gratitude.

Beyonce performed her new singles as well as her hits that had been played often on the show.

Old moments, both happy and sad, were replayed, and stars such as Diddy, Justin Timberlake, Carson Daly, 50 Cent, Kid Rock and Eminem expressed their sadness that the show would be gone.

One obvious absence was that of Britney Spears, whose song “…Baby One More Time” became a huge hit on the show. However, the song was played as the credits rolled.
