Gene-Expression In Cells May Help Explain Aging Process

Scientists at Harvard Medical school claim they have found the one of the keys to why we age.

They believe it has to do with the cell’s decreasing ability to detect patterns in gene-expression over time.

They also believe this better explains why Resveratrol, a substance found in grapes and red wine, helps to slow down the aging process.

It appears that the compound helps genes in cells to function as they did when the person was younger by stimulating other genes called sirtuins.
