As near as I can tell, there is no way for Stephen Hawking to immigrate to Canada, because of his health problems. I was thinking maybe they would get special minister approval to bypass those requirements, but it looks like instead they made this a part time gig, so there is no need for him to immigrate. I for one, hope I have a chance to attend a lecture by him while he is in Waterloo. I was wondering how they would make this work.
