Blockbuster Will Start Selling Live Nation Concert Tickets
It has been announced that beginning in the very near future one will have the opportunity to purchase concert tickets from the local Blockbuster video store.
According to reports, the deal is for 3-years and will begin as of January of 2009.
More than 500 Blockbuster outlets across America will be offering the Live Nation concert tix, as Live Nation continues their break off from TicketMaster.
“This is another step in the right direction,” said James Keyes, Blockbuster’s chief executive. “It helps reinforce what Blockbuster really is trying to do — provide the most convenient access to entertainment and media.”
If the selling goes well, the deal may expand to include concert paraphernalia.
