Condoleezza Rice Plays Piano For The Queen

On Monday night at Buckingham Palace, U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice fulfilled a dream of playing the piano for the Queen of England.
Rice played as part of a quintet, playing Brahms’ Op. 34 with British Foreign Secretary David Miliband’s wife, Louise who played the violin, as well as three members of the London Symphony Orchestra.
Rice is a classically trained pianist and has wanted to play at the palace for a long time now.
As a gift, the queen gave Rice an audio recording of the performance.
“It was all organized by the British and just a very nice gesture as a farewell gift,” said Rice’s spokesman Sean McCormack.
