NYC Bus Driver Murdered By Passenger

Police are looking for the passenger of a New York City bus who stabbed the driver to death and fled the scene.
The driver of the bus, 46 year old Edwin Thomas, had let the passenger ride for free despite not having a MetroCard, and when the passenger demanded a transfer for free and was denied, he flipped out and began stabbing Thomas.
Police arriving on the scene, took Thomas to a nearby hospital where he died.
A 36 thousand dollar reward has been issued for information that leads to the arrest of the passenger.
“It’s crazy because the bus driver was cool,” said another passenger Benjamin Stacking. “He let me on. I was 50 cents short. He let me on and gave me a transfer.”
This marks the first time in more than 25 years that a New York City bus driver has been killed.

If the cowards in the New York City Government would open the laws regarding carrying concealed handguns vermin like this piece of crap would be dealt with accordingly. And don’t toss me any bull about the police. Police respond after a crime is committed. The guy is dead and the family shattered than the police show up. If law abiding citizens could carry firearms and were well trained than the garbage that populates these neighborhoods would be systematically eliminated everey time they stepped out of line. Time to stand for what you hold dear and stop hiding behing the skirts of Mayor Bloomberg
