William Balfour Officially Charged With Hudson Family Murders
Police have officially arrested and charged William Balfour in the shooting deaths of Jennifer Hudson’s mother, brother and little nephew.
The bodies of Hudson’s mother, Darnell Hudson, and brother Jason Hudson were discovered back on October 24 at their home in Chicago. Little Julian was found in an SUV a few days later.
Balfour, 27 was a person of interest to police but they have now moved forward, arresting the estranged brother-in-law of Hudson and formally charging him with murder.
Balfour’s lawyer says that: “He vehemently denies that he is guilty in this case.”
“If they found gun powder on his hands, you got a case; if they found a gun on him, he had a case; if they found a fingerprint on the truck that he did this, you got a case; but they don’t have nothing,” said William’s mom.
