The Cleveland Clinic announced it would disclose the business ties its doctors and research staff have with drug and device-makers in amove to guard against medical conflicts of interest
The Cleveland Clinic announced it would disclose the business ties its doctors and research staff have with drug and device-makers in amove to guard against medical conflicts of interest.

Information will be posted on their website and will include whether staff have an equity interest in a company, a right to royalties, or a consulting relationship paying more than $5000 annulally.

The clinic’s chief believes it is the first academic medical facility in the country to make the disclosures.
