Holmes And Cruise Open Up To New York Times Style Magazine
In the upcoming addition of The New York Times Style Magazine, 29 year old Katie Holmes talks about her life with Tom Cruise.
Holmes and Cruise were married in Italy back in 2006, and have a 2 year old daughter, Suri.
There is a bit of an age gap between the two, with Holmes 29 and Cruise, almost old enough to be her father, at 46.
“When I met Tom I was completely in love and, yes, I admired him growing up – he’s Tom Cruise! … When I met him, he was so warm and I thought, Wow! You can be a superstar and a human being. He made me feel so amazing.”
Holmes tells the mag that she keeps her sanity by tuning out a lot of the chatter about herself from the outside world.
Cruise, was also interviewed by the mag, and talked about falling in love with Katie:
“I knew I wanted to
marry Kate when I met her,” he said.
