People are looking to quit smoking as their number 1 resolution of the new year.
Quitting smoking is probably one of the hardest habits to break, thus millions try and fail each and every year.
Everybody knows of somebody who has tried to quit the habit multiple times, only to fail when the going gets tough.
Sometimes, people quit successfully, but are drawn back to the cancer causing sticks due to stress at home or pressure at work.
Smoking comes with a host of dangerous health risks, the most dangerous of which being lung cancer.
A study published yesterday, should add more incentive to try to quit the habit.
It found that smokers in families with a history of stroke, are 6 times more likely to also suffer a stroke.
