January 19 (Ottawa) All fans of the xbox video game system will be pleased to know that Amazon has just reduced the cost of a subscription to their Xbox Live Gold program.

Xbox continues to be a hot sell, and is much more popular than the newer PS3 when it comes to gamers from around the world.

The program gives users of the Xbox system, 12 months of Xbox live service including online multi-playing games, and the Netflick online streaming service.

The company made the move as part of their Hardware and Accessories sale, which sees a $50 membership cost slashed by 40% to only $30.

The sale is valid until midnight on January 31.
