Chinese Woman Is 4th Victim From Bird Flu This Month
January 24 (Ottawa) China has reported another human death from bird flu, bringing the total to 4 just this month.
It appears that China is home to a new outbreak of the dreaded virus, after being virus free for over a year.
The latest victim to succumb to the bird flu virus is a 31 year old woman from Urumqi. She joins a woman from Eastern China, a boy from Southwest China, and a woman from the city of Beijing.
A little girl is also in hospital battling for her life after being diagnosed with the virus.
China’s government scared about the possibility of an epidemic have launched a new daily bird flu reporting system to track cases.
It is not sure if any of the current cases of the virus are related in anyway.
