20 Million PCs Infected With Conficker Worm Virus

January 26 (Ottawa) The Conficker computer virus has now infected an estimated 20 million computers from various parts of the world.
The virus attacks computers running Windows operating systems, and once on a computer’s hard drive it makes life miserable for the user.
The virus, which is yet to be stopped, is estimated to have infected more than 1.2 million business networks, and is slowing down computers all over the globe.
To date, efforts to stop the virus from spreading have been futile, leaving computer experts stumped.
The virus spreads by various methods, including email, memory sticks and more.
Users of computers running Windows are being urged to keep up to date with their virus protection software.
